Pollen Robotics, based in Bordeaux and owned by AI platform Hugging Face, unveiled Microduck, a bipedal robot with 15 motors and sensory equipment including a front camera and LiDAR. The 25cm tall device weighs under 800 grams and retails for $399 before taxes and shipping. Preorders started recently, with first deliveries expected before Christmas 2026 in North America, Europe and the UK.
Microduck moves by walking, crouching, righting itself, and can pick up small objects like socks or pens.
